Loft conversions neednt be small and cramped though. Very often there is a capacity for 1-2 rooms in a loft. or a large bedroom and an ensuite bathroom.

As long as your loft space is 6 ft or more in height, then a more than adequate space can be developed there. Perhaps a spare bedroom, an office or even a lounge for your teenage children can be sited in the redundant space you now have.
